We chose the name Voxyfy as Vox means “the voice”, and we want the voices of artists to get what they deserve.
The charity we chose (helpmusicans) allows a small percentage of money from subscriptions to go back to the artists as they lose money when people download music illegally.
Our target audience is nobody specific as we appeal to a wide range of people but is generally for anyone who wants to listen to music.
For our designs we chose smooth edges so its easier to the eye and the purple and yellow contrast eachother, bringing their attention.
Critical links
We took inspiration from bold and colourful work that catches the eye in order to make our app stand out
Initial designs and wireframes
App designs
As our app targets a wide range of users, we chose to make our app customisable so they can choose their own version of our logo for an app icon as well as light mode or dark mode, both with vibrant bursts of colour to make using the app a positive experience for everyone.
Poster designs and mock ups
For the ethical aspect of our app we decided that we wanted to do something that gave back to the music industry as we think it is important that musicians have the support they need in order to be able to continue doing what they love which is creating music for us to listen to. Through using our app, listeners can be proud to be helping the community while streaming their favourite songs.
